Description:
AVANCE Takes on the Global Cardboard Challenge Children from all AVANCE centers put their creativity to work by building robots, laptops, arcades, bowling games and many more items out of cardboard boxes and other recycled materials. A festival was hosted at our Mangum center to showcase approximately 100 unique games. Parents and children explored and played with these masterpieces made by the preschoolers. Inspired by the short film, “Caines’ Arcade,” the Global Cardboard Challenge is an annual event presented by the Imagination Foundation that celebrates child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it.
