• Wear rubber-insulated gloves.• Use insulated tools.• Do not have any metal objects in your possession while working.• Do not cause any impact on the battery. • Do not disassemble the battery without specific equipment.• Be sure to discharge the battery to store and transport it safely.
Disconnection of the 12V battery terminal
CautionDisconnect the negative
terminal of the battery first.
If the positive terminal is disconnected first, there is a possibility of electric shock.
Disconnect the negative terminal.

Remove the rear seat back.
Remove the rear seat cushion.Rear seat

Unfasten 2 bolts.
Turning off the safety switch
Turn off the safety switch.
Remove the safety cover.
Safety switch in the ‘ON’ position After turning off the switch, wait 5 minutes for the electric discharge.
Safety cover Unfasten a bolt and a nut.

Disconnect the connector and terminals.

Caution
• Orange colored cables carry high current.
• Be cautious when working with electric terminals.
Disconnection of battery connectors (2)
Remove the frame and battery front case(LH). Unfasten 3 nuts.Unfasten 10 bolts.

Removal of trunk trims (1)
Open the trunk.
Loosen the fasteners. Remove the luggage center trim.

Luggage side trim(RH)
Remove the luggage side trim(RH). Complete removing trunk trims.
Remove the luggage side trim(LH).

Detach the inlet cooling duct. Detach the outlet cooling duct.
Unfasten 5 nuts.Outlet cooling duct / Inlet cooling duct
