Head Coach: Rachel Bachman
Rachel is a native of Northern NY where she competed for Clarkson University in both Nordic skiing and Cross Country Running. While competing, Bachman took 7th and 9th in USCSA National Championships earning All American Status and assisted her team to an overall victory in 2012. On foot, she led her team as captain and placed 3rd overall in the 2012 Conference Championship. She is also an avid cyclist, hiker, and lover of the outdoors.

This year AVSC Nordic is excited to offer a
comprehensive training program balancing Nordic
specific workouts and outdoor adventure to help athletes
increase their endurance, raise their aerobic threshold, and
improve ski technique in the off season. Conditioning and
development of overall strength will allow athletes to pursue
excellence in high performance competition, and promote
general fitness to carry them further in all athletic pursuits –

Increase ski specific strength and overall fitness in the off season

Program Dates: 10 weeks
June 10th – August 16th
Monday: 4-6 PM
Wednesday: 3-6 PM
Thursday: 4-6 PM
Sunday: 8 AM – 12 PM
We also plan to offer opportunities for additional training such as morning lifting, stretch and yoga classes after practices, and additional fun outdoor adventures with guest coaching staff.
Program Fees:
To accommodate family travel and vacation schedules, AVSC offers the ability to sign up for segments of the summer program according to the amount the athlete will be able to attend. Athletes signing up for longer than one week may use their enrollment to attend summer training in non-consecutive weeks.
1 day “drop in” - $45
1 week - $170
2 weeks - $320
4 weeks - $620
10 weeks - $1,500
Online Coaching - $100
