Awareness seminar on RTI & Workshop on Drone

An awareness seminar was conducted at IUHP by the students of Law department about

‘Right to Information’ (RTI). Students briefly presented the overview of RTI with suitable

examples.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) H P Singh, VSM through a PPT explained the

background of RTI and covered the aspects of the applicability, constitutional provisions,

exempted institutions and procedure for applying for the RTI with timelines for

expected response. Brig Ashwini Kumar Sharma and Dr. R K Bhardwaj, (HOD) FST shared

their personal experiences regarding advantages of RTI Act.

On the same day, Assistant Professor Mr. Kunal Singh, from Maharaja Agrasen

University was invited at IUHP to conduct a workshop on Drones. He briefly explained

the concept & about the components that are required to build up a Drone and its

working. Students showed keen interest in his presentation. Mr. Kunal also gave the

demonstration of Drones and Virtual reality. He encouraged students for making their

own drones instead of buying form market. Overall it was a very useful presentation.
