a.) The expensive e-reader/tablets are continuously reducing their prices to become more affordable. (The projected estimate of tablet ownership by

adults within five years is 75% according to Greenfield.)3

b.) There is development of e-ink to reduce eye-strain caused by staring at the digital screen for

prolonged time.4

There are already multiple sources for ebooks present,

Such as Scribd that house millions of ebooks and

documents available for viewing and downloading.3

As well as various scientific sites that provide countless research papers for use in our studies.

Although printed books aren’t obsolete, but it may take on a new role in the future.

There is no definite clue as to whether ebooks will completely replace printed

books, but as our technology advances it will definitely play a bigger role.
