Chapter 1 the Introduction of AX-100P
Overview of the AX-100PAX-100P is a one port FXO analog card for capturing a standard analog phone line into yourLinux server with Asterisk PBX software. TheAX-100PAsterisk card supports FXS Loopstart and"Kewlstart" signaling. It can detect ringing and remote hangup and fully supports Pseudo-TDMbridging through Zaptel. The AX-100P Asterisk card is fully supported by Asterisk PBX for bothincoming and outgoing calls.

Chapter 2 Software Installation
Test Environment:Elastix 1.5.3AX-100P
1. After inserting the card into your PCI slot and boot your server, please use the “lspci”command to check the PCI bus compatibility. The correct output will like the following:==================================================================00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) SMBus Controller (rev 01)04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5751 Gigabit EthernetPCI Express (rev 01)05:02.0 Communication controller: Motorola Wildcard X100P05:07.0 VGA compatible controller: XGI Technology Inc. (eXtreme Graphics Innovation)Volari Z7==================================================================An Motorola Wildcard X100P will be found, if you can not see it, please poweroff your serverand try another PCI slot, if it still does not help, you have to check the compatibility issuebetween the card and your PCI bus.

Chapter 3 Software Configuration
1. Please finish automatic configuration with following command:
[root@elastix ~]# dahdi_genconf
2. Configure the system.conf file:
[root@elastix ~]# vi /etc/dahdi/system.conf
check this file to make sure there is’fxsks=1’
3. Configure the chan_dandi.conf file:
[root@elastix ~]# vi /etc/asterisk/chan_dandi.conf
Please type ‘channel =>1’under’signalling=fxs_ks’ and delete '#include ....conf '
4. Configure dialplan
[root@elastix ~]# vi /etc/astersisk/extensions.conf
5. Reload the dahdi and wctdm
[root@elastix ~]# amportal stop
[root@elastix ~]# rmmod wctdm
[root@elastix ~]# modprobe dahdi
[root@elastix ~]# modprobe wctdm
6. Start asterisk:
[root@elastix ~]# amportat start
[root@elastix ~]# asterisk –vvvvvvvvvgrc
elastix*CLI> reload
elastix*CLI> dahdi show channels
And you will see one drive---- fxs
