Air Operated Double
Diaphragm Pumps
Wilden are the worlds largest manufacturer of Air Operated Double
Diaphragm Pumps and acquired Almatec GmbH in 2006. Pioneered by
Jim Wilden in 1955, the range has grown to encompass a complete
array of designs, sizes and materials of construction.
Wilden’s revolutionary Advanced™ Series pumps
were specifically designed to maximise
performance and efficiency. The bolted
configuration of these pumps ensures total
product containment while the redesigned liquid
path reduces internal friction to maximise output.
The Saniflo™ Series pump line is specifically
designed to meet the strict cleanliness
guidelines established for sanitary process
applications. Saniflo™ pumps incorporate a
straight flow-through design, allowing large solids
passage and easy drain down in CIP processes.
Wilden's Original™ clamp band pump and
Advanced™ bolted series pumps are available in a
complete range of metal and plastic constructions.
The Pro-Flo X air distribution system gives ultra
reliability and maximises air efficiency to reduce
operating costs.
Almatec manufacture a complete range of
machined plastic pumps. Available in
Polyethylene and PTFE construction also with
conductive plastic ATEX compliant models in port
sizes from 6mm to 50mm. Quiet operation and
high efficiency from the perswing air valve.

Rotary Positive
Displacement Pumps
Blackmer and Mouvex trace their roots back more than 100 years and
together are rotary positive displacement pumps for the transfer of liquids
and liquified gas products. Blackmer and Mouvex products are used in a
variety of industries including chemical processing, offshore oil, petrochem,
biofuel, liquified gas, resin, paint, ink, food and beverage.
Sliding Vane
These pumps have a number of vanes that are
free to slide into or out of slots in the pump
rotor. Unlike gear pumps, sliding vanes
compensate for wear and maintain full pumping
efficiency. When worn out, the vanes are simply
replaced without the need to remove any motor
coupling or pipework connections.
Mouvex Principle
The unique Mouvex principle eccentric disc pump
produces the pumping performance of a rotary
positive displacement pump by oscillation alone.
The wetted pumping elements do not rotate and
the pump is totally sealless. An extremely gentle
pumping action enables the pump to handle
shear sensitive fluids.
ProVane®
The ProVane® Motor Speed sliding vane pump
offers all the benefits of traditional sliding vane
technology but with cost efficient direct motor
coupling and single seal.
P Series
The Mouvex design sliding vane pump has
in-line porting and is fully reversible for flow in
either direction. The pump is available in cast iron
and stainless steel construction

Waukesha
Cherry-Burrell
Waukesha Cherry-Burrell pumps are supplied to a wide variety of
industries around the world including food, dairy, beverage,
pharmaceutical, personal care, pulp and paper, automotive paint, hydro-
carbon processing, films, coatings and adhesives. The Waukesha
‘Universal’ world famous brand out performs all rotary lobe and wing
rotor pump technologies.
The Universal External Circumferential Piston
(ECP) design has an extended sealing path
between rotor and body, preventing product
slippage and shear therefore enabling increased
efficiency and ability to deliver high discharge
pressures. The ECP design also provides a very
gentle pumping action making the pump ideally
suited for solids and large particulate handling.
The Universal l and second generation Universal ll
offer a range of build options including
rectangular flange, mechanical seals, CIP build,
Asceptic build, heating jacket, high temperature
extra clearance rotors, single wing rotors and
stainless steel gearcase. Meets hygienic 3A and
EHEDG standards.and some models can operate
up to 34 bar pressure.
The complete range of sanitary centrifugal
pumps are manufactured with casing and
impeller in polished stainless steel. Modular in
design, the pumps minimise spares inventory
and have a range of mechanical seal options.
The Medium Duty Lobe (MDL) pump has been
developed specifically to handle the medium duty
applications where a simple tri-lobe design can
provide a cost effective pumping solution.
A modular design maximises parts
interchangeability.

Mechanical seals
The effectiveness of mechanical seals is critical
in the optimal operation of rotary pumps. We
hold a comprehensive range of spring-loaded
and cartridge mounted mechanical seals in
stock. We have the in-house facility to re-lapp
seal faces and re-condition highly expensive
mechanical seal assemblies.
Looking at the big picture. It’s not about size, but about perspective.
The main reason system thinking is so effective is precisely because it
considers the totality of the process and breaks it down into functions
rather than just components. And when you consider the big picture
in this way, it becomes a matter of perspective, not of size. It means
looking both at existing and at new processes with fresh eyes. Then
it requires examination of how efficiently each function is performing
and how well it serves its purpose, rather than concentrating just on
the specifications of the individual components.
Step 1: The concept – It is important for
us to discuss your current experience
and your system expectations so that
we can apply our design skills
to develop a system solution to exactly
match your process and operational
needs. Complete the pipework and
instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)
Step 3: Agree the design and produce a
general arrangement drawing. Make any
modification or design changes before
proceeding to build.Step 2: Select the best pump for the job.
