Axle Counter BO23 is used for station sections occupancy control, level crossing sections occupancy control as well as open track sections occupancy control.
The system can be used in railway, tram and metro applications.
The complete axle counter system consists of indoor unit BO23 UNUR, outdoor unit VUR and rail wheel detection sensor with double structure ZK24-2.
Direction and speed detection and distinguishing disturbance from an axle passing above.
Occupancy control of station sections and open line block sections.
PC diagnostics and reset possible locally or remotely.Train detection unit for the modernization of existing systems or new systems for the protection of level crossings.
Axle counting at train speeds up to 350 km/h.
Application
One indoor unit (19” × 3U) controls up to 8 counting points configured on 1 to 6 sections (selection of 9 predefined configurations).
General Memorizing the last 10 000 train passages over any counting point including exact time and date, axle number, direction, faults, etc; ineraseable with power failure.
Fail safe communication according to EN50159-1 using all the existing communication media, transmission systems and networks; in order to control the occupancy of automatic block sections between stations.
Output information by safety relays – section occupancy, disturbance, failure.
Possibility of connection onto relay and electronic LC protection and interlocking systems.
