Ruk na paya meray, ba-wafa ka woh sarNok-e-naiza se aane, laga khak par
The head of the faithful could not bear it any longer
It started falling from the spear to the earth
ن کو دربدر، دیکھ کر ننگ سر، س ن پایا ہب ہ ے ہجواں
Behan ko darbadar, dekh kar nangay sar, seh na paya jawan
Seeing his sister wandering homeless, and unveiled, he could no longer endure

Uss taraf hai shaqi, iss taraf reh gayeen, be-pidar betiyaan
