Program
It is believed that the influence of news in the media against a very broad public. Especially
if the news related to the program/even a public policy that adopted by a public institution
and regarding life/interests of the wider community.
The background of media reporting about a program and service by PT AzSoft can be seen
from many views. Its undeniable that every media has different character, style and
perception of presenting the news to public in every program, product, service and policies
that run by PT AzSoft and its partner (Polyvision).
Photo news for service category that owned by PT AzSoft and Mitra (Polyvision) proven
has a neutral and positive character in the public eyes. And talking about open architecture,
from interactive whiteboard, media and public need education to be given sustainable,
so that an understanding about value from interactive white board in Indonesia will be
better than before. Thus, the brand awareness of PT AzSoft and Polyvision in Indonesia
will continue arise.
Media relations activities that have done by PT AzSoft should be done continuously, not
only as education medium to the media, but also first hand information distribution and
as a PT AzSoftís way in establishing good relations with the media and the broad public.

Overview
Qualitative
This Qualitative Analysis has made for measuring Perceptions Index Level (PIL), Awareness
and effectiveness of media program relations of PT AzSoft, by one month period and will
be doing by Intuisi Public Relations.
PIL is measuring of a communication program through a qualitative analysis that refers
to the method of weighting a reporting news. The higher index, reflecting the positive
increase of perception that reflected in the intensity of positive publicity in the media.
Currently, PIL is in the process patented by i-public relations.
1. From PIL (Perceptions Index Level) or increase of public perception†that related with
21st Century Classroom program that held by Polyvision & PT AzSoft that presented
in the very low level (under 1500 points)
2. And then, the final result of the measuring/monitoring about 21st Century Classroom
program on the range may 3rd ñ may 30th 2011, obtained the number of AD Value
Rp 54.245.000 and PR Value Rp 290.600.000,- (Medium Level)3. Reporting that support the increase of PIL value and also be a guide of measuring of
AD &PR Value, such as:
- Photo news that related with 21st Century Classroom program, as many as 11
photo news
- Feature/reportage that related with 21st Century Classroom program, as many as
4 news
Analysis
Conclusion- Considering that these activities and†media†relations†programs of PT AzSoft & Polyvision are
the first time had been held, and based on value news that reached, so that the result of these
programs has a GOOD predicate.
- From that reporting for each angle or view and kind of news that has been taken, media have
POSITIVE value with its details.
- By the presenting target/media publicity for 21st Century Classroom program that held by PT
AzSoft & Polyvision was well done, both in the qualitative and quantitative sides.
Comments & Inputs- Complementing media information needs about trend and development of Interactive
Whiteboard should be done continuously (not only in the moment of event will be held)
PT AzSoft that be founded by Andri Wijaya and Arrent Ong has a vision to provide the best
educational technology in Indonesia. Moreover, from the partnership with Polyvision, PT AzSoft
also being a partner of Blackboard Inc. that a pioneer of e-learning in 1990 and today, they
serve more than 60& worldwide e-learning. The others partner of PT AzSoft is Webswami,
which is a software of language education and RM Education from Australia who launch the
1st Tablet PC product to the world with Windows 7-based, it should be fully the media needs
about information related the product and it services.
- From media input, need to be made, a different development, unique, and has a surprised
power and also value that can compete with the similar program from competitor, Interactive
Whiteboard has a big chance in Indonesia, especially for quality development in Indonesia.
- It needs an online advertising use, micro blogging, and SOCMED campaign to penetrate
the†market†as well as†education†to a†wide audience.
Media Analysis (Basic)- In analyzing media, Intuisi Public Relations focus in Media Content Analysis which is one of
communication trend viewing method. This method is an approach to perform quantitative
analysis of the systemic to the document or the text based on specific categories that have been
predetermined.
- In analyzing media, there is a content analysis, which are semiotics and ethnographic. Many tools
/ methods that can be used to analyze the news, but content analysis is the most often tool that
people used.
- Semiotics is the science of the signs. An in-depth approach to analyze and understand the meaning
behind a text.
- Categorization in the analysis is determined by the subjects and themes (subjects and themes)
are then grouped (coding text) so that the specification of†clear analysis andyield analysis and
appropriate recommendations to the PT AzSoft Program.
