Logging inGo to http://www.bcpss.org.Click the log in button near the top of the screen. Your username
is your payroll number preceded by a lower case letter e. So, for example, if your payroll number is 54321, then your log in username is e54321. Your password is the same as the password you use for your City Schools email account.

After logging in, click on the My Places link near the top of the screen.
If you are a teacher, click on the link for the course you are now teaching. You will only be able to email students who are in your classes.

Checking to See If Your Students Are Enrolled In The System
Once you log in to your course, look in the upper right hand corner. The message should read, “Edit mode is on.” If this is not the case, click the word, “off,” to turn edit mode on.

Click on the Users link. Scroll through the list to verify that your students are entered into the
system. If you do not see your students’ names, then they cannot be a part of the email system on TSS. Contact the Heritage High School Registrar to have students electronically added to the TSS system. To perform this process yourself, consult the following set of directions.

Your choices are to create a message or view messages in your inbox. Whichever choice you make, simply follow the onscreen directions and click the Submit button at the end.
For accountability purposes, related to this grant, please send a copy of all messages to Julius Zuke. These emails are needed as documentation at the quarterly progress meetings.

Creating GroupsCreating Groups
To create groups which contain two or more email addresses, click on the Control Panel button on the lower left side of the page until it expands.
Click on the Users and Groups link until it expands.
Click on the Groups link.

Click on the button, “Create Single Group.”Click on “Manual Enroll.”Follow the onscreen directions and click the Submit button at the end.You may create as many groups as you wish by repeating these steps.
