Assists vulnerable pregnant women to secure affordable prenatal care and labor/delivery. Additional services include emergency food and clothing, social service case management, legal assistance, medical and dental clinics, and job training among many other supports. Also assists low income families who are receiving poor prenatal diagnosis access affordable prenatal care, in partnership with the Affirming Life Initiative of the Archdiocese of Washington.
Post-abortion healing ministry offers one-on-one referrals to priests or deacons and to professional Catholic counselors for emotional and psychological healing as well as group healing events. Staff and volunteers are available for speaking engagements on healing awareness, general post-abortion healing information for the parish and witness talks. The ministry services are available in English and Spanish to anyone affected by an abortion decision, including couples who faced adverse prenatal diagnosis and terminated the pregnancy.
