Beginning Feb. 19th students will be allowed to bring in privately owned e-Reader devices to class.

devices for “Independent Reading”
during instructional time.

Policy Agreement forms must be signed
prior to participation.

In addition to the signed Elementary BYOT Policy
Agreement Form, a signed AUP must be on file.

Acceptable e-Reader devices include, but are not limited
to: Kindle, Nook, iPad, & the iPod Touch.

Recommended accessories include: headset/ear buds,
backpack & protective case.

All devices and accessories should be marked with
identification information to easily identify the owner.

Student Expectations
Students are responsible for their own technology.Students must follow
policy guidelines.

Students are responsible for charging their own
devices at home. Devices will not be charged at
school.

Students will be expected to have their devices and the WiFi on their
devices turned off prior to entering school.

Students must follow policy guidelines. Students will not activate or connect to a Hot Spot, any ad-hoc network or 3G/4G wireless connection
while at school!

Under no circumstances will a student use another student’s technology.
Students will respect the property of others.

Safety and Security
We recommend that personal information be removed
from personal devices before they are brought to school.

Devices are subject to search by an
administrator if there is suspicion of wrong
doing.

The school division will not accept responsibility for
loss, damage, theft, or non-working
personal property.
