The Florida Sun-shiners have been hosting the DOAI Southeast Rally in Seffner, FL. for the last several years. Now it is our time. Frank Cason (Rally
Master) has assigned several members to chair committees and they are look-ing for volunteers to help. Frank will be giving us an update during the spring rally at the River Vista RV Park, Dillard, GA. During our chap-ter’s renewal period several of our members have decided not to renew their membership. A new updated ros-ter was e-mailed to members in Feb-ruary. We now have a total of 44 coaches. Please note Page 10 for im-portant information regarding the Michigan Rally. During our business meeting at Dillard, GA, Stan and Sharon Niemin-ski will update us on our Fall Rally to be held in Petoskey, Michigan in Sep-tember. As of last month, we have 25 coaches registered for Dillard. We are
hoping for 30. If you plan on at-tending, you need to send Bob Zumwalt your registration form ASAP. The form is still included in this Newsletter. Members re-ceived an email from Bob Angus asking if you were planning on going to the DOAI National Rally in Bath, NY, you must mail your registration with check to Nina Soltwedel, DOAI Rally Registrar NOW. DOAI has 70 sites availa-ble and as of last week 35 have been reserved and paid for. The registration form is located on the DOAI web site. Looking forward to seeing you in Dillard, GA for our Spring Rally.

“THE BLUE RIDGE DISCOVERYS WILL HOST THE 2017 SOUTHEAST DOAI RALLY AT LAZY DAYS RV CAMPGROUND IN SEFFNER, FLORIDA.”
Greeting from Central Florida.
We have a Theme: it is “BEACH PARTY”
Our second meeting to discuss the 2017 SE Region Rally will be held at our spring rally in Dillard, GA. It would be nice if we had a great turn out at Dillard. The rally hosts for Dillard have set aside two hour for a coordination meeting on the Beach Party rally. We still need members to volun-teer to help Katy Leydic on the seminars and to help Dick Pryor on the vendors. These items and more will be discussed at Dillard. Come and bring your suggestions
DOAI has a contract with Lazy Days for 100 sites, as of this writing we have 35 signed up. The agreed on price for a couple is $400.00 and for a single $337.73. This price includes: camping site, food and entertainment. This price also includes breakfast and lunch each day. It includes three night meals with entertainment, and I am working with Lazy Days sales, in hopes to have them provide another meal.
For the committee chairpersons, please be prepared to discuss your area of responsibility at the Dillard Rally. We as a group need to decide what charity to use for the 50/50 drawings.
If you are unable to attend the upcoming Rally, send me your thoughts and ideas so they can be dis-cussed. This is a chapter effort, so I need the help of all members.
Thanks,
See you in Dillard in April..

Glad to hear Elaine Harvell has got her blood pressure under control.
This information came to late for our last Newsletter. Some of us have experienced this problem before but you might not know that the Fleetwood Storm keys work also. It never hurts to reiterate it again.
Thought I would let you know something about your Fleetwood we thought was a farce but turned out to be true. We miraculously locked ourselves out of our Discovery today with the regular lock- not the deadbolt. A friend had told us that the bottom lock key/storage bay keys are all the same lock on all Fleetwood products. Instead of forking out $100 for a locksmith, we found a Fleetwood Storm in our campground and asked to borrow their bottom key. We had to just slide it slightly out of the lock instead of all the way in flush, but it worked! Unlocked the D and we still had $100 in our pocket! Bartered a couple of raw eggs for the key use, but in all we came out ahead! Just thought I'd share the info. I'm sure some of you wiser folks were already aware of this unique standardization by Fleetwood. (Emily Bailey)

FOR THE COOK
Avocado, Tomato & Feta Cheese Salad
(Linda Terrell)
2 Avocados 4 Roma Tomatoes 1 Small Red Onion 1 Bunch of Cilantro ¼ Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 Tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt or Kosher Salt 1 Cup Feta Cheese
Finely chop tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro. Mix in bowl. Add Olive Oil, Red Wine Vinegar, Cumin, and Salt. Stir and mix thoroughly. Cover and let the mixture marinate for 2 hours.
Before serving, add the Avocados and Feta Cheese. Serve with Tostido Scoops and enjoy!
Easy Broccoli Spoon Bread
(Linda Terrell)
1 Box Jiffy brand corn muffin 1 Can Green Giant Creamed Corn 2 Eggs 1 Cup Sharp Shredded Cheese 1 Bag Chopped Broccoli (I use the “steamable” Birdseye Chopped Broccoli) Pre-Heat Oven to 350 degrees (I use my convection oven and it works beautifully). Prepare the broccoli, following Birdseye directions. If some pieces of broccoli appear to large, chop them so they will blend better. Spray 13 X 9 pan with Pam Cooking Spray. (I use disposable convection/microwave pans by Reynolds)
Blend the corn muffin mix, creamed corn, eggs and broccoli. Add the shredded cheese and stir. Pour the mix-ture in the cooking pan and bake in oven for 30 minutes (in convection oven cook for 30 to 35 minutes.) The spoon bread will be golden on the top and when you insert a toothpick in the center, it will come out clean. You can slice the bread in squares or serve with spoon.
