• Yes the Degree

• Whilst you are starting the diploma there are a lot of opportunities available to you at TAFE

• Including that the first year of the diploma is counted towards your bachelor Degree

Your Current Standing

• By completing your diploma you Will be 1/3 of the way through the bachelor

• In the first 6 months of the Degree after completing the Diploma, you will be 1/2 way through the, the degree.

• This may not seem like much now but 1.5 years can go very quickly

• This is one of the great things about the bachelor program available at TAFE

DIPLOMA

University of Canberra

• Our Partnered University is UC and is in the top 100 young universities in Australia

• At TAFE you will be a University of Canberra Student enrolled in a Bachelor Degree at TAFE.

• This means you have every opportunity that a uni student has at any other university

Study

Full Years Credit

• At TAFE Queensland we worked very hard to ensure that you get a full years credit in a block

• Outside of TAFE universities provide a years equivalence so there is no guarantee you will get a full block year of credit which could blow out your studies over 2 years

• Study Patterns are available if your interested at seeing the units available to you

• UNIFI Creative Student Symposium

• Student-run event supported by staff

• Multi-discipline event that engages with the industry

UC Club

• The UC Club is a student run club at TAFE Southbank with over 100 members

• They are part of UC Life which allows them to function as an official club

• Only $5 for an annual membership and it’s open to anyone

• Every Wednesday they run a Tabletop Night after 5pm at TAFE SouthbankH-Block Lvl 5

UC Club Weekly Table Top Event

• The weekly Table Top Event has featured many different games including, board games, card games and even custom games developed by the students themselves

• This weekly event has been hugely successful for the club and has been running for nearly 12months

• Other Events include: BBQ’s, Tournaments, Games and Lan Nights, Workshops, Pokemon Go Runs and Laser Tag
