My name is Victoria. I was born in the United States, but my parents are Chinese. They come from Hong Kong, but they have lived here for twenty years. During the summer this year, they took my brother Mario and me to see our family in Hong Kong. We spent a month there, and we met our cousins Deshi and Biyu. Deshi is my aunt and uncle’s son, and Biyu is their daughter. Mario and I don’t speak Chinese very well, but that was not a problem because both Deshi and Biyu can speak English. In fact, most people in Hong Kong speak Chinese and English.

Deshi is tall and thin. He loves sports. He plays tennis and soccer on weekends. Biyu loves animals and wants to be a vet. She is very pre y. She has black hair just like mine, but hers is not as long. She wears hats all the me. My uncle took the three of us to Ocean Park. We enjoyed all of the a rac ons there. My favorite was Polar Adventure, where we learned about penguins and their chicks. Mario loves fi sh, so he preferred Aqua City. The visit to Ocean Park was my best day in Hong Kong.
