Background and objectives: In the past decade, MENA governments identified the fight against corruption as an overarching objective of their public administration reform programs. Governments defined national anti-corruption strategies and policies and created anti-corruption agencies and committees. In order to effectively implement national anti-corruption strategies, growing emphasis was put on involving governmental and non-governmental stakeholders in the policy making process. The Eleventh Annual Conference on Arab Management: The National Anti-Corruption Strategy will build on the experiences of participating countries in the design and implementation of anti-corruption strategies and policies. In particular, the Conference will provide an in-depth regional policy dialogue amongst participants on: 1. Sharing experiences and good practices of participating countries in designing, implementing and coordinating anti-corruption and integrity policies; 2. Identifying building blocks and success factors of an effective national integrity framework; 3. Discussing how the instruments and indicators of selected international organisations and non-governmental organisations can help governments to implement anti-corruption policies.
