To understand how to take MRP Run in Background for All Network Plants, using Transaction Code:-MDBT.

2.0 SCOPE:

To view Background MRP List.

3.0 METHOD:

Please follow the procedure as given below:

Click here to Create Planning Variant

Enter Name of Planning Variant

Select All Selection Screens

After filling information please click on Attributes. Here you need to do configuration for Scope of Planning (Tcode: OM0E) or you can select single plant also. In Scope of planning you take multiple plants.

Select Scope of Planning

Select Processing Key: NETCH, Create Purchase Req: 1, Schedule Line: 1 No Schedule Line, Create MRP List: 1 MRP List,Planning Mode: 3 Delete & recreate planning data, Scedulling: 2 Lead Time Scheduling and Capacity Planning,Planning Date: Blank

Select 001-Deterministic MRP run (Materials with MRP type 'PD')

Here you select different option as per your requirement like protect variant.After Saving Variant you will get Variant SCM VB Saved.

we need to start our background MRP Run through Tcode- MDBT.

Save It (Ctrl S)

See here New Planning Variant Created.

Then go Tcode: SM37- Job Overview

Click here to start immediately Background MRP Run

Here you will see Planning Variant is Started

Enter User ID from which you have started Background MRP

After Successful completion of Background Job, please select the Job & then Click on Spool

Click on Spool

Select Background Job (RMMRP000)

Here you will MRP list generated through Background MRP Job. This list will show which materials are planned with Plant & their exception group.
