Rocks
The rocks in this area are very important, specifically to the snakes and frogs. Snakes use the rocks to hide under or build their homes below it. Frogs use the rocks as places to hide because they blend into the rock’s surfaces.

The sand in the soil provides cover and homes for smaller land organisms such as some snakes and some frogs.

The temperature affects what kind of organisms live there and when they are active in the ecosystem.
