This selectionof 101 rarities from theBrusselsHoardhasbeen chosen to celebrate thepublication,jointlybyBaldwinsandtheBritishNumismaticSociety,ofthedefinitivestudyofthehoardbyRonChurchillandBobThomas.The Brussels Hoard of 1908, the Long Cross Coinage of Henry IIIsetsouttoanalysetheapproximately34,500coinswhichremainedatBaldwinsatthecommencementofthestudy.Representedherearecoins fromall themintsandat leastonecoin fromeveryprovincialmoneyer.Numbersofcoinsquotedarethenumbersrecordedduringtheresearch,anddonotnecessarilyreflectthenumbersofpiecesactuallyremaininginourhands.Asthenewstudyproposesanewclassificationoftheseries,onlytheChurchill&Thomas(Brussels)classificationhasbeenusedbythecataloguer.Thebookisavailablenow,priced50(postageextra).
