BARACK OBAMA
Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. He is the president of the USA. He was the first black president. He has a wife and two children and a dog called Bo.
He won the nobel peace prize in 2009. He keeps his promises. His birth day is on the August 4th 1961. He is the 44th president. He lives in the White House. He has won the election twice in a row. His parents come from America and Kenya. He recently has fallen out with his friend , Angela Merkel, prime minister of Germany, by getting the USA to spy on her with her phone.
BLACK AND WHITE
When Barack Obama became president it was a big deal for black people because he was the first black president. 50 years ago, black people were treated differently because of their skin colour. They had to go to different schools different supermarkets and on the bus black people had to sit at the back and if a white person got on and there was no room then the black person was expected to get up for them.
PRESIDENTBarack Obama was the 44th president in the USA. He was the first black president. Someone actually said to him: I want to see your birth certificate because they didn’t believe he was born in the United States because he was black. That was rude but he did it and it proved he was from the USA. He became president in 2008. He was reelected in 2012. He lives in the white house. That is where every president stays when they are president.
THE OBAMA’S DOG
He made a promise to his two children if he won the presidential election, he would get them a family dog.
Guess what?
He won so he got them a family dog named Bo!

His wife’s name is Michelle Obama .
His oldest child is called Malia Ann.
His youngest child is called Natasha. (she is also known as Sasha)
And you cant forget the dog Bo.
He doesn’t have a good relationship with his dad.
He has a caring mother.
He has 1 sister and 1 brother.

• He is 52 so he was born in 1961 and his birthday is on the 4th of august. He grew up in Hawaii. He had a caring mother. His mother and farther divorshed.

Hawaii is an island just out of the usa but it is still counted as it. It is quite large.
