Barbara HepworthArtist

Barbara Hepworth achieved international prominence which is unusual for female artists. She was also a leading figure in the colony of artist that resided in St Ives during the Second World War. She was an English artist as well as sculptor who's work is modern, partially with in her sculptures. Giovanni Ardini, master sculptor taught Hepworth how to carve marble in Italy.
