While today's armed forces have to cope with constant downsizings in both manpower and sys-tems they are under pressure at the same time to deliver increased and more accurate fire-

power. As a result gun tubes are subjected to higher rates of fire and the firing of long range ammunition, (assisted by more powerful propellants and sabots), resulting in increased pollution and corrosion. Keeping the high value gun tubes clean has, therefore, become a top priority and a challenge for weapon system crews and maintenance personnel.

Milispec Internationals’s Automatic Pneumatic Cannon Cleaner (APCC) is a pneumatically driven fully-automatic system for the thorough cleaning and preservation of gun tubes. With the APCC, the effort and the manpower required to clean barrels is significantly reduced.

While the level of quality of manual cleaning each time depends on the efforts of the operators, the APCC’s mechanical operation delivers a constant, thorough and proportionate cleaning of the complete tube.
