En Mystic World, Barrio Santo explora uno de los temas que más debate, contradicciones y extremismos genera: el misticismo, las religiones paralelas, la magia, la superstición, el mundo de lo onírico y de lo oculto. En la colección se respira esa triste y rocambolesca atracción que genera en nosotros el absurdo para unos y serio para otros conocimiento del futuro, la quiromancia y los rituales extraños. Simbolismo y animales sagrados, decadencia y hermetismo se amalgaman en una colección al mas puro estilo Barrio Santo. Hemos rebuscado en los anales de la magia, en el satanismo y la hechicería para ofrecer una colección llena de humor y crepuscular seriedad, esas conjunciones y atracción por lospolos opuestos que tanto nos excitan en Barrio Santo.

Los colores tristes y melancólicos, como el invierno que los acoge y el tema que tratan, vestibles y accesibles, a la vista básicos pero matizados y elaborados para dar ese aspecto descuidado sin serlo. Hemos investigado en nuevos tejidossin olvidar nuestros estándares de calidad y confort, como siempre 100% naturales y fabricados exclusivamente en Portugal.

Junto con los patrones básicos de cuello redondo o pico enfocados a un público más casual hemos investigado en patrones destructurados, cortes asimétricos y prendas más amplias y largas para dar un ambiente relajado y muy masculino. Desgastando y delavando las prendas para dar ese aspecto used y vintage que tanto nos gusta y tan de moda está. Desde Barrio Santo proponemos una nueva masculinidad street, un hombre hedonista y a su vez implicado con su entorno, un hombre que se atreve a reírse de si mismo y a disfrutar del momento siendo a su vez educado y elegante. Mystic World, una colección semi-básica y comercial y a su vez una colección de imagen vestible para clientes deseosos de renovar su imagen y modernizar su ropero.

In the Autumn/Winter 2011/12 Collection “Mystic World”, Barrio Santo explores one of the most discussed topics provoking generally extreme contradictions: mysticism, dark religions, parallel worlds, magic, superstition, dream worlds and the fascination of the occult. In the collection you can breathe the bizarre attraction that generates in us the knowledge of the future, the palmistry and strange rituals. Symbolism, sacred animals, decadence and secrecy are blended in a collection to the purest style of Barrio Santo. We have been researching in the realms of magic, Satanism and witchcraft to offer a collection full of humor with an underlying serious edge: playing around with the contrast that exist in the world, the ambivalence, all these elements which we like to play with at Barrio Santo, always with an ironic look.

Sometimes sad and gloomy colors interpreting the winter season, as a contrast to our exuberant character. The styles as always are made to the utmost wearable, basic and casual at first sight, almost with certain negligence, but at the end very nuanced and developed with lots of interesting details. We researched in new tissues without forgetting our standards of quality and comfort, as always 100% natural clothes, manufactured exclusively in Portugal.

Along the tees with a more basic pattern with a round neck and a v-neck aimed at a more casual target we also researched in destructured patterns, asymmetrical cuts and more full and extensive garments to provide a more relaxed and masculine feel to the collection. The garments are treated worn and extra washed to give it a more vintage and used look, a key pillar of Barrio Santo. With this collection we would like to offer a new masculine street style for a hedonistic man who at the same time wonders about and is involved in his environment. Someone who can laugh about himself and simply enjoy the moment, a gentleman with attitude.

Barrio Santo’s Mystic World collection offers both, easily wearable garments as well as pure fashion styles for all those that would like to update their look and upgrade their wardrobe.
