will feature a meet and greet, a case competition, and a gala
dinner. The top three teams from the weekend will be presented with trophies and cash prizes.

Case Competition Description
Resolution ________________________________________
Each team will be provided with paper, one USB flash drive and writing utensils. Each team will be required to bring into resolution one laptop with PowerPoint capabilities and calculators. Resolution will be 2.5 hours and will occur in the team’s respective room. The use of the Inter-net will be permitted during resolution. Teams will be notified by a BASC volunteer when they have 10 minutes, 1 minute and 20 seconds remaining in resolution.
Presentation______________________________________
Teams are given 20 minutes to present their PowerPoint and case anal-ysis. Presenters will be given a 2-minute reminder at the 18 minute mark. Another 30 second reminder will be given at the 19:30 minute mark. The timer will then count down the final 10 seconds. Teams will be penalized if they are outside of the 18-20 minute range. Presenters are not permitted to make visible their identity aside from firstnames. This includes but is not limited to mentioning what city and/or university they are from.
Question Period______________________________________
After conclusion of the presentation, the judging panel will be allowed a five- minute question period. The judging panel will consist of three to four members. The question period will be held as equally valuable to the overall score of the case.

How To Register
Registration can be done in teams or individually. Teams can begin registering now at http://asbaa.ca/registration/
Individual Sign-Up - $165Individual Sign-Up Early Bird (before November 30th, 2018) - $150
The cost per team is $650 and includes entrance to the case competi-tion, two breakfasts, two lunches, a three-night stay at the Fairmont Hotel, and entrance to all the BASC events. The deadline for registration is December 31, 2018.
Fees will be due within 10 business days of registration. Teams who fail to make this deadline may be withdrawn from the competition. You may send cheques payable to “Asper School of Business Accounting Association” to the following address:
