INTRODUCTION

What is base-24?

BASE-24 is a series of applications produced by ACI(Access Control Information) WORLDWIDE, Inc. that support payment systems used by large financial institutions.

The base-24 system is a numeral system with 24 as its base.

FEATURESThe capacity to process unlimited number of transactions and unlimited organizations.

Provides the option of online and offline connectivity with the Banks' host system.

Online connectivity with Visa and MasterCard International, providing real time online authorizations.

Ability to process all international debit and credit card products including Private Label debit cards.

Provides switching services with the UAE Central Bank switch.

Can interface directly with Banks host systems, card management systems, point of sale electronic terminals and ATMs.

BASE24-atm

BASE24-atm is an EFT(Electronic Fund Transfer) processing and switching system that provides ATM support and management including transaction routing and authorization, Electronic Data Interchange, settlement, reporting, network control, and stored-value card functionality.

Provides transaction and operational security, including Triple DES (3DES) and automated key distribution.

Supports multiple accounts per plastic card Provides options to configure receipts and the dispensing of items.

BASE24-eps

EPS stands for encapsulated postscript file format and its used in prepress and printing process.

BASE24-eps, formerly BASE24-es, is a payment engine that the financial payments industry uses. It is used to acquire, authenticate, route, switch, and authorize financial transactions across multiple channels.

It is supported by mainframe computer platforms including z/OS, HP NonStop (Tandem), UNIX (IBM pSeries, Sun Sparc) and IBM zSeries.

The BASE24-eps™ for Faster Payments Solution

BASE24-eps for Faster Payments is a gateway that allows existing bulk or high-value payment systems to support the Faster Payments initiative.

The gateway includes functionality for connecting multiple payment initiation systems and internal routing of intra-bank payments.

In addition, the gateway monitors a bank’s settlement risk position and provides settlement reports to keep the bank informed of its net settlement status.

BASE24-infobase

BASE24-infobase is used to collect ATM transactions, including EFT payments, and distribute operational data, such as automated software updates.

It operates on ATMs with Microsoft Windows operating systems.

BASE24-pos

BASE24-pos is a data integrity support application. It is supported by HP NonStop servers.

It has a Stored Value Module component that provides online issuance and validation of  Stored-value card data.

It also has an ACI Commerce Gateway component which serves as a firewall between internal servers and the internet or other payment networks.
