Bezos set up the office for his fledgling company in his garage where, along with a few employees, he began developing software

Expanded to two bedroom and created a Beta Test Site

300 Friends were invited to the Beta site and Amazon.com was started

They went public in the 1997 Amazon flourished with yearly sales that

jumped from $510,000 in 1995 to over $17 billion in 2011.
