4th Sunday of Advent. We are very familiar

with today’s Gospel, the Annunciation, the

first Joyful Mystery of the rosary. The angel

Gabriel announces to Mary that she is “full of

grace” and that her son would also be “Son of

the Most High”. Mary declares: “Behold, I

am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done

to me according to your word.” The Liturgy sings: “The

Virgin Mother longed for him with love beyond all telling.”

These last days of Advent we long for Christ’s coming with

love and hope – love for our God who comes to save us –

hope for our world, for our families, for each of us as we

receive Christ our Savior on Christmas Day.

The CDC has very wise recommendations for the

Christmas and New Year’s celebrations this year. They

begin with this: “The safest way to celebrate winter

holidays is to celebrate at home with the people who live

with you. Staying home is the best way to protect yourself

and others.” The vaccine is coming, but is not here for all of

us yet. So, all the best practices that keep us healthy and

safe must continue: masks that cover nose and mouth, social

distancing, avoiding large especially indoor gatherings,

washing hands, getting a flu shot. May these Christmas and

New Year’s celebrations be joyful and healthy for all of us!

Reconciliation Monday will

be on December 21st. The

priests will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation after the 8:45 AM Mass till

10 AM, after the 12:10 PM Mass till 2 PM, and in the evening

4º Domingo de Adviento. El evangelio de hoy

nos es muy conocido, la Anunciación, el

primer misterio gozoso del rosario. El ángel,

Gabriel, anuncia a María, la “llena de gracia”,

que su hijo será también “el Hijo del

Altísimo”. María proclama: “Yo soy la esclava

del Señor; hágase en mí según tu palabra.” La

Liturgia canta: “La Virgen lo esperó con inefable amor de

Madre.” A los pocos días del nacimiento del Salvador,

esperamos con amor y esperanza su venida entre nosotros –

amor por nuestro Dios que viene a salvarnos – esperanza

para nuestro mundo, nuestras familias, y para cada uno de

nosotros al recibir a Cristo en esta Navidad.

El CDC (Centro de Control y Prevención de Enfermedades)

tiene unas recomendaciones sabias para las celebraciones de

Navidad y Año Nuevo. Comienzan con esta declaración: “La

forma más segura de celebrar las festividades de invierno es

hacerlo en casa, con las personas con las que convive.

Quedarse en casa es la mejor manera de protegerse y proteger

a otras personas.” La vacuna viene, pero no está disponible

para todos todavía. Por lo tanto, todas las mejores prácticas

que nos mantienen sanos debieran continuar: mascarillas

puestas cubriendo nariz y boca, distanciamiento social, evitar

los espacios cerrados y muy concurridos, lavando las manos, y

Las lecturas de la semana del 20 de diciembre de 2020

Lunes de Reconciliación se celebrará el 21 de

diciembre. Los sacerdotes

estarán disponibles para el Sacramento de Reconciliación

después de la Misa de las 8:45 a.m. hasta las 10 a.m.,

Chúa Nhật thứ 4 Mùa Vọng. Chúng ta rất quen thuộc

với bài Tin Mừng hôm nay - Mầu nhiệm Truyền Tin,

Mầu Nhiệm thứ nhất trong năm sự Vui Mừng của chuỗi

hạt Mân Côi. Sứ thần Gabriel nói với Đức Maria rằng

bà là người “đầy ân sủng” và con trai bà cũng sẽ là

“Con của Đấng Tối Cao”. Maria đã thưa rằng: “Này tôi là tôi tớ

Chúa, tôi xin vâng như lời Thiên thần truyền.” Trong cử hành

phụng vụ có hát: "Đức Mẹ đồng trinh khao khát Người với tình

yêu không thể kể hết." Những ngày cuối cùng của Mùa Vọng

này, chúng ta mong mỏi Đấng Kitô đến với tình yêu và hy vọng

- tình yêu của chúng ta đối với Đức Chúa, Đấng đến để cứu

chúng ta - đem lại hy vọng cho thế giới của chúng ta, cho gia

đình của chúng ta, và cho mỗi người chúng ta khi chúng ta đón

nhận Đấng Kitô là Cứu Chúa của chúng ta vào Ngày Giáng Sinh.

Trung tâm kiểm soát và ngăn chặn dịch bệnh (CDC) đã có những

khuyến nghị rất khôn ngoan cho mỗi người chúng ta trong dịp lễ

Giáng sinh và Năm mới năm nay. Họ bắt đầu với điều này: “Cách

an toàn nhất để ăn mừng kỳ nghỉ đông là chúng ta tổ chức ngay tại

gia đình của chúng ta cùng với những người sống chung trong cùng

một căn hộ. Ở nhà là cách tốt nhất để bảo vệ bản thân và những

người khác ”. Thuốc chủng ngừa sắp ra mắt, nhưng vẫn chưa có đủ

cho tất cả chúng ta có thể được chích ngừa. Vì vậy, tất cả các thực

Thứ Hai vào ngày 21 tháng Mười Hai sẽ có bí tích giao hoà.

Các linh mục sẽ có mặt để ban Bí tích Hòa giải sau các Thánh

lễ lúc 8:45 sáng cho đến 10 giờ sáng, và sau thánh lễ lúc 12

giờ 10 phút đến 2 giờ chiều, và buổi tối từ 4 giờ chiều đến 8

giờ tối. Xin anh chị em vui lòng thu xếp đến sớm trong ngày

nếu có thể. Xin hãy tuân thủ các quy định đưa ra vì sức khỏe

2020年12月20日：将临期第四主日

1. 将临期第四主日：我们非常熟悉今天的福音，圣母领报，玫瑰经的第一

个欢喜奥迹。天使加俾额尔向玛利亚宣告，她是“满被圣宠”，她的儿

子将是“至高者”。玛利亚说：“看，主的婢女在此，愿照你的话在我

身上成就吧！”颂谢词 唱到：“童贞圣母以无可言喻的爱情，孕育了

祂。”在将临期的最后几天，我们以爱和希望渴望基督的来临——爱来

拯救我们的天主——当我们在圣诞节接受我们的救主基督时，对我们的

世界，我们的家庭，我们每个人充满希望。

2. 疾病预防中心给今年的圣诞节提出了非常明智的建议。他们从这开始：

“庆祝寒假的最安全的方式是在家里和家人一起庆祝。呆在家中是保护
