SCHOOL CONTRIBUTION/SWIMMING LEVY

Please note these charges are now due. All families

have received a statement. Those families who have a

current concession card can deduct $35 per student

from the Essential items levy upon presentation of the

card at the school office. The $85 swimming levy

needs to be paid by 27th February for your child to

continue in the swimming program in March and in

Term 4.

HATS All students need to have a wide brimmed hat for out-side times. Hats are available for purchase form the school office for $12. We will even name them for you! Please ensure your child has a hat at school each day – a reminder that peaked caps are not acceptable sun smart hats. PLEASE KEEP AT HOME Lollies, chocolates and chewing gum should not be brought to school. We cannot be responsible for expensive or special toys and encourage parents to keep all these items for after school. CAN YOU HELP??

We are sending home a ‘Can You Help’ list with this newsletter, listing all the areas that we need help with at various times throughout the year. We would real-ly appreciate it if you can look through the list and tick any areas that you may be able to assist us with. Please return the form to school as soon as possible.

STUDENT FREE DAY

We will be having a student Free Day on Monday 16th March for staff professional development.

BIRTHDAYS AT BASS VALLEY

The following students celebrated their

birthdays this week:

Lara Morgan , Ella Masinovic & Jessica Garry

We hope you all have wonderful days.

CANTEEN

Canteen has commenced operation. We still need a few more

volunteers to fill our roster, or we may have to reduce our

menu. Please contact the school office if you can help.

Zooper Doopers will be sold at lunch times on Tuesdays only

this term for $1 each as part of the 5/6 camp fundraising effort.

We also have available Smooze Coconut & pineapple Fruit Ice bars and LB1 Real Fruit ices in various flavours. BREAKFAST CLUB

This is a free program which runs from 8.30- 9.00 on a

Wednesday and Friday morning. The breakfast club area

is located inside the gym in the kitchen area. Cereal,

toast, juice and milo is available.

BUS RUNS We have made a few changes to a couple of our bus runs which will commence on Monday 2nd March. The Corinella bus is not affected. The Grantville Gurdies bus will now pick up the Stanley Road passengers. The Woolamai and Coronet Bay bus have been combined as one run. All families on these two runs have been noti-fied by mail as to the change of times etc. This means that we no longer have the early or late bus and the ear-liest that a bus will get to school will be 8.45am. All buses will leave at the same time in the afternoon.
