Bast and the Scarab, Khepri

Who will win???

Long ago in the blue desert there was a black cat named Bast who was a goddess that always

bragged about how fast she was.

Ha ha! I’m

faster!

The next day Bast met Khepri at the start. A jackal, a hippo, a crocodile, and a camel were all at the start.

Go!!!!!!

The jackal said go and Bast started sprinting. Khepri was left in the dust.

Khepri was so far behind he thought he would lose.

Bast was two hundred cubits ahead when she stop at the tree of life. She inadvertenly fell asleep under the tree of

life.

The scarab past Bast and won the race
