Battle of Hastings

-Harold’s military defeated Harold Hardrada. -Rushed down to Hastings to fights Williams military-Tired and in need of resources the battle lasted all day with William’s men ending in victory-King Harold dies in battle.-William is Crowned king of England on December 25th in London.-established a new social hierarchy with the monarch as the true leader, nobility, and serfs/freeholders-Established the feudal system
