O N E L I F E . O N E E A R T H . IT ALL STARTS BELOW How Be-1 works. The symbiotic relationship of plants and beneficial microbes. Plant roots excrete exudates, which attract microorganisms (bacteria and fungi). These bacteria and fungi FIRST , provide a natural defense, competing with disease causing microorganisms; SECOND, make micro- aggregates to improve soil structure and, THIRD eat nutrients in the soil. However, these nutrients are in a form not yet usable by plants. The microorganisms Protozoa eat bacteria and other protozoa, transforming these previously unusable forms of nutrients into forms that are available to plants. At some point, the plant will use up the nutrients in the rhizosphere and you have to make a choice. That choice is either, FIRST , use a conventional salt based fertilizer, or SECOND, use an organic biostimulant/ fertilizer, such as Be-1. Conventional vs. Natural Organic The challenge with conventional fertilizers is that they often contain salt (sodiumnitrates), which kills microbes and ultimately sterilize the soil. Since microbes help turn nutrients into usable forms for plants, this means that not all nutrients are being converted into plant-available forms; hence, not quite reaching full efficiency and usually requiring increasingly more fertilizer to achieve the same effect. Often the excess will leach and may end up in our rivers, streams and oceans, causing such phenomenon as algae blooms, which kill salmon, and sterilize our waterways. Instead, if you add Be-1 to your compost or tea to inoculate or add as a top-dressing to estab- lished plants, then the hydrolyzed proteins will exponentially increase the bacteria, fungi and protozoa, maximizing use of nutrients in the soil and releasing them slowly. As these nutrients are used up, you can replenish monthly with the natural nutrients in Be-1’s NPK of 3-6-5, which all microbes need to maintain this symbiotic cycle. You will likely find that over time you will need less fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides which means a much more efficient and environmentally sustainable environment. ENHANCED WITH HYDROLYZED PROTEINS. 1 2 Making a Choice Be-1 Organics 508 SW Jefferson Ave. Corvallis, Oregon 97333 USA Compost and Bokashi Starter/Accelerator: Thor- oughly mix 1.75 oz (50 grams -or- 3x tablespoons) of pellets per gallon of compost (2 lbs of pellets per cubic yard) directly into your compost pile Soil-Conditioner: Before planting and transplanting, awaken your soil by jump starting your beneficial microbe counts in the rhizosphere and improve soil structure from several days up to 4-weeks prior to planting, apply 1.75 oz (50 grams -or- 3x tablespoons) of pellets per gallon of soil directly around hole, where planting. 1x 2.2 lb bag conditions roughly 20 sq ft. 1x 2.2 lb bag 22 lb bag conditions roughly 200 sq ft. Monthly booster: Most microorganisms could use a monthly boost of amino acids and nutrients in Be-1 pellets, especially during most intensive growth phases. See your application type below for rates. For general application, one 22 lb bag boosts roughly 1,000 sq ft. See feeding by plant type below. Compost Tea: There are many recipes and tech- niques for mixing compost tea -or- actively aerated compost tea (AACT). Since microorganisms are living, they can increase exponentially, given the right catalyst (Be-1), which means you do not need much to get the process started. This makes compost teas the most cost-effective method for including Be-1 in your feeding regimen. You only need 2x tablespoons of Be-1 per 5-gallon bucket, use specific rates below and simply add Be-1 pellets to your favorite tea recipe. Rain and well water work best. Foliar Spray: Foliar sprays are a great way to add nutrients with immediate effects, and add a biologic barrier film to foliage. The film can provide a natural barrier against disease and insects, which means energies can be focused on growing. Orchids New planting: Thoroughly mix 0.8 oz (20 grams -or- 1.25x tablespoons) of pellets per gallon of soil. Monthly (Spring to Fall): Add 0.2 oz (5 grams -or- 1/3x tablespoon) of pellets top dressing around base of plant. Foliar Spray: Add 0.2 oz (5 grams -or- 1/3x tablespoon) of pellets per liter of water and allow to solubilize for at least 3- to 6-hours, stirring occasion- ally, and spray. Flowers New planting: Thoroughly mix 1.5 oz (40 grams -or- 3x tablespoons) of pellets per gallon of soil. Monthly: Add 0.2 oz (5 grams -or- 1/3x tablespoon) top dressing of pellets around base of plant. One 2 lb bag covers roughly 200 sq ft. Compost Tea: Add 0.9 oz (25 grams -or- 1.5x table- spoons) of pellets per 5x gallons of tea and allow time for pellets to increase microorganisms (potency) in the concentrated brew. Then feed as usual. This same mixture may be used as a foliar spray. Fruits & Vegetables New planting: Thoroughly mix 1.5 oz (40 grams -or- 3x tablespoons) of pellets per gallon of soil -or- for commercial application, 1 x 22 lb bag per 80 linear foot row. Monthly: Add 0.4 oz (10 grams -or- 2/3 tablespoon) of pellets top dressing around base of plant. One 2 lb bag covers roughly 100 sq ft. Compost Tea: Add 1.0 oz (30 grams -or- 2x table- spoons) of pellets per 5x gallons of tea and allow time for pellets to increase microorganisms (potency) in the concentrated brew. Then feed as usual. This same mixture may be used as a foliar spray. Aggressive Growth Rates Use Be-1 in all planting mediums, including soil and soiless mixes - peat moss, coco, hydro and Perlite. If microbes can grow in it, Be-1 can help them grow exponentially. Aggressive - (Dry pellet application) New planting: Thoroughly mix up to 4 oz (120 grams -or- 10x tablespoons) per gallon of soil. Monthly: 1.4 oz (40-grams -or- 3x tablespoons) of monthly top dressing around base of plant or more often as needed. Aggressive - (Compost tea and foliar spray) By far the most economical method of applying Be-1 pellets is in a compost tea. Only $0.18 per gallon. Simply mix pellets into your usual tea recipe and Be-1 will go to work increasing microorganisms (potency) in the concentrated brew. Then feed as usual and be sure to send us pictures. SMALL BATCH Aggressive Tea Application: 1/3 oz (10 grams -or- 2/3x tablespoon) per 1-gallon of brew -or- 1.75 oz (50 grams -or- 3x tablespoons) for a 5-gallon bucket LARGE BATCH Aggressive Tea Application: 1x 10 kg (22 lbs) bag per 1,000 gallons of brew Hydroponics While the Be-1 Pellets are water-soluble, and if you don’t mind the extra work of having to clean your filters a little more frequently, using Be-1 in hydroponic applications is worth the effort. Just be sure to solubilize pellets in water for at least 30-min. to 3-hours prior to running through system, stirring occasionally to break up aggregates as much as possible. The pellet form of Be-1 makes it the easiest to use bio-stimulant (with NPK). Here are uses that will help you get exceptional results. Page 2: Be-1 Brochure 3a

Unlike any product out there, Be-1 is a very unique combination of nutrients and minerals along with a proprietary blend of amino-acids, all natural and wild-sourced.

The result is a product that isn’t just a shop-ping list of minerals and nutrients. Be-1 is a culmination of 30-plus years of research to find the perfect combination and balance of ingredients and blend of hydrolyzed proteins that work in unison and literally awakens the soil and efficiently feeds and strengthens the plant.

In a lab analysis done by Earthfort, the flagellate count increased by 6700% more than normal organic humus would contain and 1100% more amoebae.

This directly correlates to more than 6 times the nitrogen cycling potential. (please refer to our Biological Analysis Soil Amendment performed by Earthfort found on our website: www.bio-enhanced.com).

Be-1 also generates a process that maxi-mizes the plant’s absorption of nitrogen. Most importantly, Be-1 helps the plant strengthen itself from root to leaf-tip and naturally defend itself from most if not all natural enemies.

This greatly reduces the need for harmful pesticides and herbicides that kill all of the “good-guys” in your soil.
