From the Large Stripe - Multi (A), Fussy cut:• (2) 4 ½” x 40 ½” LOF strips, each centered on the fire trucks and signs strip.• (2) 6 ½” x 40 ½” LOF strips, each centered on the street scene and vehicles strip.

From the Town Scenic - Lt. Blue (B), Fussy cut:• (1) 10 ½” x 40 ½” WOF strip, centered on the houses strip.

From the Stop & Go Dots - White (C), cut:• (4) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 ½” x 64 ½” strips.• (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 ½” x 46 ½” strips. From the Tossed Rescue Vehicles - Dk. Blue (D), cut:• (4) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 4 ½” x 68 ½” strips.• (3) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 4 ½” x 54 ½” strips.• (1) 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (4) 3 ½” x 6 ½” strips.• (1) 3 ½” x WOF strip. From the Folio - Red Hot (L), cut:• (1) 1 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (4) 1 ½” x 4 ½” strips.• (1) 1 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (4) 1 ½” x 6 ½” strips.• (1) 1 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (2) 1 ½” x 10 ½” strips.• (10) 1 ½” x 42 ½” WOF strips.• (7) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Mini Fire Trucks - Blue (Backing), cut:• (2) 62” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 62” x 84” back.

Sewing Instructions1. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 4 ½” Fabric L strip to each side of (1) 4 ½” x 40 ½” Fabric A strip. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric L strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A strip to make Row 1 (Fig. 1). Repeat to make Row 9.

2. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric L strip to each side of (1) 6 ½” x 40 ½” Fabric A strip. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric L strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A strip to make Row 3 (Fig. 2). Repeat to make Row 7.

3. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 10 ½” Fabric L strip to each side of (1) 10 ½” x 40 ½” Fabric B strip. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric L strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric B strip to make Row 5 (Fig. 3).

4. Place (1) 3 ½” Fabric K square on the left side of (1) 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric D strip, right sides together (Fig. 4). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 4). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 5). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance.

5. Place another 3 ½” Fabric K square on the right side of the 3 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric D strip, right sides together (Fig. 6). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 6). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 7). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance to make (1) Unit 1.

6. Repeat Steps 4-5 to make (4) Unit 1’s total.

7. Repeat Steps 4-5 and use Figures 8 through 20 for fabric identification and location to make the designated number of units.

8. Follow Figure 21 and sew (14) assorted units into (2) rows of (7) each to make Row 2 and Row 6.

9. Follow Figure 22 and sew (14) assorted units into (2) rows of (7) each to make Row 4 and Row 8.

Page 3Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)10. Sew the (9) rows together, in numerical order, to make the quilt top.

11. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 64 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 46 ½” Fabric C strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top.

12. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 68 ½” Fabric D strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 54 ½” Fabric D strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top.

13. Layer and quilt as desired.

14. Sew the (7) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric L strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

15. Bind as desired.
