She changed Lucky’s future for the better in a REAL WAY. is that what started as a group of 4 volunteer moms in 2014, has now grown to 19 real people that are reading twice a week with REAL LEARNERS just like Lucky, improving their reading by an average of 10%. is that what started out as a literacy programme has rapidly escalated to other programmes including: Enabling 6 REAL YOUNG VOLUNTEERS to be actively involved with additional literacy and numeracy programmes every day after school Getting a previously unused library into a REAL FUNCTIONAL state again Supporting a feeding programme for 100 REAL HUNGRY CHILDREN Assisting with set-up and maintenance of a REAL COMPUTER LAB Blog For more information on the Rogz Academy and Books & Beyond, click here to follow our Blog. Our goal is to achieve REAL SUSTAINABLE CHANGE at Sophakama to create a well-performing school, with committed staff, that offers Lucky and the other REAL LEARNERS an environment of continuous learning. We have accomplished all this so far on the goodwill of volunteers and donations. Now we need others to join as financial partners so that we can keep focussing on the many real challenges at Sophakama. We want to develop teachers and bring the newly available resources into the classrooms. We believe that individual efforts by REAL PEOPLE can make a difference and change schools.
