SYNOPSISThe top 100 DJs in the world are exclusively men. BEAUTY AND THE BEAT has decided to put an end to this male domination and to correct this injustice by creating the first female superstar DJ.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAT has cast 10 girls who are passionate for music and possess a gifted sense of rhythm, giving them the opportunity to step behind the turntables. Through this competition, one of them will emerge as the first Female Superstar DJ.

The contestants can be singers, musicians, DJs or have no experience at all. BEAUTY AND THE BEAT will give them the same technical abilities by training them before the competition starts. What will make the difference are their artistic abilities, sense of rhythm, and power of creativity.They will learn how to master in the art of DJing and produce their own tracks while living in the “House of Beats”, a Miami Beach mansion, where they will compete for a chance to win a one million dollar contract for an album featuring well known artists and a worldwide tour. The “BEAUTY AND THE BEAT TRAINING TEAM” includes some of the best DJ’S and music producers in the world. Every week a celebrity guest star will come to the House of Beat.BEAUTY AND THE BEAT will unveil the mystery of the DJ world and electronic music production to explain how a DJ can make up to $300,000 a night with his only tool being a USB key.
