1. capital Project – to be funded from Section 5309 of Title 49, United States code, and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act: Fed-eral funding of $118,192.00 is re-quested for the purchase of three (3) passenger vans, three (3) of which will be equipped to trans-port people with disabilities, to-tal cost $147,740.00.

2. This project will assist gen-eral public transportation needs through the purchase of these ve-hicles for FCTC. All vehicles will be used in Franklin County.

3. The location of the proj-ect will be to serve residents in Franklin County, Missouri.

4. operating project – to be funded from Section 5311 of Title 49, United States code: The total estimated cost of the project is $643,000. Total federal funds requested: $180,000; local funds and fares to be used for the project: $463,000.

5. The source of the local match will be from privately gen-erated local funds (capital); unre-stricted federal funds, local cash, donations and in-kind match (op-erating).

6. At the hearing, FCTC will afford an opportunity for inter-ested persons or agencies to be heard regarding social, econom-ic, and environmental aspects of the project. Interested per-sons may submit oral or written evidence and recommendations with respect to said project. If no person(s) request to give either oral or written statements three days prior to the public hearing, the applicant is not required to hold the public hearing.
