LISTEN TO THEIR STORIES
If you’re thinking about teaching in an urban environment, the UACM program sets you up for success.
Learning how to be culturally responsive teachers was the most impactful element of the UACM program.
The UACM program makes the most sense. Your first year is spent getting certified, and the next year you spend getting your Masters degree.

LISTEN TO THEIR STORIES
I love working in minority communities, and this program allows me to work with students who may not have the tools they need in education.
My experience with refugee students shed light on working with children from different countries, and taught me strategies to help build their literacy skills.
I’ve always had a passion and desire to advocate for children and becoming a teacher is the best way to do that.
Being part of a student cohort that went through the program together was one of the most meaningful aspects of the program.
