Organic cotton made bedding sets are more comfortable and costly than normal sheets. They also require extra care for long usage. If you would like to increase the life of your full size plain cotton bedding sheets. Then, You should need to focus on the all following points.
What to Do?- Washing- Drying- Storage- Use Cold water- Ironing- Rotation
WashingYou should regularly Wash bedding sheets to clean them properly without mixing with other fabric. Because, Washing alone and with organic bedding products are always good.
DryingOrganic cotton sheets can be dryable similar to any other types of sheets
StorageStore the bed sheets in dry area only.
Use Cold waterAlways use cold water for Washing & Drying organic cotton bed sheets.
IroningIroning is not compulsory, but sometime you may iron the organic sheets. Linen gets softer and cotton gets heavily ironed.
RotationIf you have more than one set of sheets, then you should always rotate sheets after some days to stay it for a long period of time.
What to Don't?- Bleach- High heat - Fabric Softener- Detergent/Chemicals
BleachAvoid bleach, or detergents containing bleach, on any of organic products. Colour will fade quickly.
High heatYou should not use hot water or over dry the sheets, because using high heat will damage or breakdown the sheets. Resulting, tread material may be expanded or shrunk to loosen the weave.
Fabric SoftenerAvoid the use of fabric softener. Putting a chemical coating will make the sheets more softer but it is harmful for our skin.
Detergent/ChemicalUse least amount of detergent and Chemicals than the manufacturer recommends, Because a large amount of usage may weaken cotton sheets early.
