“We were first attracted to the house because of the size of the property and the beautiful setting,” says Pam. “Another

aspect that drew us in was how wonderful the

area around it was, with the open country views”.

insight“Since moving into Woodlands 11 years ago, the house

has been completely refurbished to a modern standard and

immaculately decorated. We also extended the house so that

there is an extra bedroom upstairs and a large open plan kitchen

and dining area. The house now has a total of five good sized

bedrooms. We are going to miss everything about the house when

we leave because it is so lovely here.”

“The large kitchen and dining space make it a brilliant house for entertaining purposes. Our aim with the layout

was to make it an extremely sociable house, with different areas

to relax in. The refurbishment has allowed us to have many family

parties here over recent years” continues Pam. “The garden area

is also so lovely, with large trees in the front and a beautifully

landscaped lawn with lots of plants. We love sitting out there in

summer as it is so peaceful and quiet.”

“The location is superb, although Box End is a small village it is close to Bedford where there are many shops and restaurants. Bedford also has good commuter links into central London. You can get to London St Pancras from Bedford train station in around 40 minutes,” explains Pam.

“Near the house, we have a local bus service and there is also very easy access to the A1 and M1 motorways as. The area has so many beautiful parks, based

largely around the river with places to go for walks. There is a recently built water park approximately 10 minutes’ walk away, where you can relax and eat or get

involved with the many water sports. Woodlands would be wonderful place for a family but would suit anyone looking to relocate to a tranquil area. It is a great

place to bring children up of all ages but the opportunities are endless. We are really going to miss everything about it” concludes Pam.
