1) If you see a swarm or hive, immediately call the Facilities Management Customer Service Help Desk, (858) 534-2930 and maintain a safe distance or leave the area.

2) Customer Service staff will notify Landscape Services who will dispatch a team member to safely secure the area.

3) Once Landscape Services staff locate the hive, they will post red danger tape to establish a safe distance from the bees.

4) Landscape Services is working with the Sign Shop to design new bee signs to post at these sites.

5) The bee control team then removes and relocates the bees.
