How I used media technologies..
From the previous images it is clear that that media technologies has allowed me to make changes and modifications to different stages of my Advanced Portfolio. I have displayed the images before and after the development of technology. This can also show my skills that I explored in within media technology.
Photoshop – this was a huge software using the computer that I used for adding effects onto my images. On the first 3 slides you can identify evident and obvious changes that I experimented with using Photoshop. Not only, did Photoshop enhance my creativity, I still feel that it hampered it because it kind of took away the idea that I was going for with the social realism convention.
Indesign - This was a software that I used on a computer in order to produce and create my film review. This was a new programme to which meant that I needed to develop new skills. Luckily, this software was made by the same people as Photoshop, therefore many tools were similar, such as, the magic wand tool.
Final Cut Pro - I have previous experience using this software from year 12. I believe this was a effective and advanced way of putting our short film together. I used this in the construction stages of my film but I did encounter some problems, such as, some footage being jumpy, background noise and missing footage. Final Cut allowed me to identify these errors so I would detach audio (look at previous slide) and I could edit some footage to make it appear more pacey or run smoothly into the next scene.
