COLOR SYMBOLISM ACTIVITYFor each color, discuss and answer the following questions: 1. What does this color make

you feel? 2. What do you think of when

you see this color?

For each color, create an image that has a symbolic connotation for said color. ❑Examples: ❑Purple might represent royalty. ❑A color might represent a favorite sports team or restaurant. ❑Colors might represent certain times of the year.

ONCE YOU FINISH, PLACE YOUR IMAGES UNDER THEIR CORRESPNDING COLORS ON THE BOARD.

❑Let’s take a look at the images that each group came up with! ❑Which image do you think best represents each color? Why? ❑Do you see any images that you could relate to “The Masque of the Red Death”?
