Please keep in mind of the one way tracks which are shown on your maps; Kokoda trail (W-E only) Link Track (E-W only) Billy Goat Track (up only) Ridge Top (down only) Bookings are essential for the Hungry Range, so vehicles leave at intervals of half an hour. Baby Luckraft We have welcomed a new baby girl to the family, Charlie and Kylie are happy to announce the safe arrival of Annalise Ruby Luckraft on the 5th September 2017. Big brothers Will and Ollie are very happy with their new sister! New Office in Full Swing We have worked hard over the past few months in getting our new office in operation before the October long weekend. The office is much larger than the previous one, and will have a greater range of shop supplies and souvenirs available for purchase. The office as you see it, is Stage 1 of our expansion. Wait until you find out what else we have planned for it! A Warm & Dry Spring Spring has been warmer and drier than usual for us at Bendleby. You will notice that we are feeding out hay for the stock as the pasture hasn’t had the chance to rejuvenate over the past few months. Once the rain had reached us, the harsh frosts damaged the new germination before it reached it’s potential. Along with the warmer conditions, we have seen lizards and snakes active across the property. Please be mindful, keep the doors closed on the showers and toilets, and keep an eye out where children are playing. AFL Grand Final The Adelaide Crows have made it to the AFL Grand Final! We are sure there are many Crows and possibly some Richmond supporters amongst our guests this weekend, who are eager to watch the grand final. The match will be showing at the Cradock Hotel, Orroroo Commercial Hotel and Orroroo Hotel. We will also have a TV set up at the Shearers’ Quarters and Camp Kitchen for those who want to watch it at Bendleby. Shop Supplies We have ice, frozen bread and long life milk available if you are in danger of running out—just ask at the Office. We also have a great selection of Orroroo Kangaroo meat (including a fabulous mettwurst and NEW pepperoni), local wines, chocolate bars, Golden North Giant Twins and Bendle-Bee Honey for sale.
