Berkshire Boys Lacrosse Fall Newsletter November 2014 Program Overview The Berkshire lacrosse program began a new era in 2010. After winning its fourth consecutive Western New England Secondary School Lacrosse Association Division II Championship in 2009, the Bears made the move to Division I. This change has allowed Berkshire to play against some of the best competition in New England. The Bears 2014 season ended with an 8 th place finish in their 13-team league while still maintaining a Top 20 finish in all of New England (according to Laxpower.com) with big wins over Loomis, Kent, NMH, and Trinity-Pawling. The Bears will begin their 2015 campaign with a preseason trip to Arizona (more details to follow). The 2014-2015 school year has begun with a coaching change for Berkshire. Andrew D’Ambrosio will be directing the program having spent the last four seasons as an assistant coach. A four-year starter at Williams College (’10), Coach D’Ambrosio was a senior captain as well as a two-time All-NESCAC selection, an ECAC All-New England selection, and a USILA Scholar All-American.
