It’s about the music! The Berlin Boombox Mixtape Series is series of digital mixtapes recorded exclusively for us by a selection of international DJs. We regularly publish new mixes.

KICKSTARTERAxel Pfaender is a Berlin-based illus-trator and DJ. With the Berlin Boom-box he decided to combine his his two passions – music and design. He started a Kickstarter project to get the necessary funds to bring the Berlin Boombox to the market.

The Kickstarter project was very suc-cessful, reaching $20,000 after 30 days. But even more important than the money: the tons of positive feed-back, retailer request and love from blogs, magazines, TV stations and radio stations.
