THE SUNKEN ANCHOR QUIZ End of a Successful SeasonIt was a great end to a successfulseason as the flags came down on29th April. We had to rug up a littlefor that final patrol but it was still apretty perfect day at the beach.

It was a huge season at Bermi withlots of new members, and 48 newtraining awards. Not bad for a clubwith 43 active patrollers with anumber of people upskilling in morethan one qualification over the courseof the season.

We finished the season with 5 rescuesand two emergency call outs.

One of the rescues - a triple-rescue ofthree young boys caught in a rip -received "Rescue of the Year". PatrolCaptain, Van Osgood, was on hand atthe Presentation Night to present LiamRussell, Ben Burgess and RowanBlake (not in picture) with their award.Along with their awards they receivedcopies of the beautiful cards that two ofthe youngsters delivered to the teamthe next day to say thank you.

Great effort by all keeping all of thevisitors to our beach safe this season.
