The Herdez company has been family owned and operated for over 100 years and continues that tradition to this day. Herdez makes the finest salsa products around and prides the tradition and heritage of Spanish culture. To commemorate that tradition, each label was designed to tie heritage and prominent features of Spanish heritage to a specific salsa. The set of salsa commemorates their 100th year anniversary and reflects Herdez.

Natural Organic JamsNatural is a small organic farm which is family owned and operated. Natural specializes in natural organic jams which do not use preservatives or additives. Only farm fresh organic fruits are used and carefully grown and prepared to give the farm fresh taste behind Natural Organic Jams. Radiant photography and vibrant colors make the packaging radiate the fresh look of organic farm jam.

Daiso Santoku BladeDaiso specializes in fine stainless steel products, most notably their line of Japanese stainless steel blades. The packaging maintains a contemporary look with the product as the focal point contrasted by a bold black which compliments red and white. Santoku means “three virtues” in Japanese which means three uses from the Santoku blade: dicing, mincing, and slicing. An advertisement was designed to showcase the product even further.

Mara of the EmpireMara of the Empire was a book redesigned to give a more modern approach to its illustration style. It now reflects a more contemporary style of book. The original book was illustrated in the early 1980s on traditional media. The concept behind the book is to emote the impending doom of the darkness that is to befall this empire, and protagonist Mara is the focal point with the personification of her wolves signifying the coming darkness as seen in the background contrasting the foreground of the cover.

Northface Mailer BrochureThe North Face prides itself as being the top outdoor brand. They approach their brand as outfitting both women and men with the best outdoor gear. The Direct Mail Brochure was designed and marketed to introduce the next line of North Face Sunglasses, Him and Hers which not only offer style but utility. Hand done photography showcases the product and what North Face represents.

Stanford - HIPStanford University’s Health Improvement Program is one of the most sought after fitness programs the university has to offer. HIP is well known for their famous yoga classes and prides their program on natural health and spiritual well-being. To match that need the logo is represented through the “surya namaskar” stance which embodies both spiritual and natural well-being. Crimson red and bold white emulate Stanford colors.

BMW Ad CampaignThe BMW X-Drive is one of the newest series of vehicle lines added to the BMW family. The X-Drive is designed to handle any terrain with its state of the art AWD system. It addition it contends with other luxury models by offering a very plush interior with all the modern technology, as well as being able to achieve speeds unmatched by most competitors. The ad campaign showcases what the BMW X-Drive series represents and was marketed on specifi c platforms which would yield the most exposure and benefi t for the campaign.

Besign, Web and MobileBesign is a personal identity and brand in which I chose to label myself. Besign emphasizes the idea behind my style, belief and process of design. The man with the small tie figure offers a playful yet serious message indicating the transition from school into the real world. The website and mobile are designed to be minimal, simple and to the point as any design should be. Utilizing horizontal picture scroll removes the excess of need when viewing different pictures of projects. The mobile encases the same idea and format. Contact ability is left throughout the entirety of the site with the home page being the central project navigation.

What’s Good 206WG206 is a TV show founded in early 2011 published on Comcast Channel 77 to enlighten and showcase youth lead events hosted from high schools and colleges in the greater Seattle area. Team members, directors and hosts have made WG206 a huge success within the community. Done for a summer internship, the website was to as minimal as possible without the need for excess pages. To do this, Javascript practices were implemented negating the need for multiple images condensing down the website retaining all pertinent information, yet have a clean and youthful look to match the style of WG206.

Scott’s Lounge & GrillScott’s Lounge and Frill is a high end lounge and grill tailoring to a wide range of clientele. Scott’s Lounge and Grill is a very modern and sophisticated lounge which is combined with the great commodity of serving gourmet food cooked over its famous grill. Scott’s has a wide array of exotic and unique drinks, offering comfortable, relaxing arm chairs and a unique pleasant atmosphere. Scott’s rebranding underwent menu redesign, supplementary print design and web design.

Scott’s Web & MobileScott’s Lounge & Grill also consisted of web design for both desktop and mobile applications. In matching the consistency of the clean and minimal design, Scott’s new website utilizes a one page design for both desktop and mobile devices. This negates the need for excess pages and provides all content for users on one page. Users navigating to Scott’s Lounge & Grill website will be able to find all relevant info. ranging between the time of Happy Hour to the location of the restaurant.
