TRAVEL & ENTERTAINMENT Best Hotel or Motel Hospitality, value and amenities led to Denison’s newest hotel, the Hamp- ton Inn & Suites, being voted Best of Texoma TM for 2012. Conveniently located at 3415 Ans- ley Boulevard and U.S. Highway 75, the Hampton has been open just eight months. It is already been rated as number one on Tripadvisor with a 100 percent approval rating. The site is also ranked at number two in value out of the 1,844 Hampton Inns in America. Helping the Hampton receive such high marks are the many extras it of- fers such as a breakfast, a manager’s reception with dinner, beer and wine every Monday and Wednesday night, and complimentary access to Nautilus Fitness Center. The inn also provides a shuttle service to area companies and, on the weekends, offers a “Stay and Play” package which includes shuttle services to area nightclubs and to Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma. Owner of the successful inn is Man- ny Singh, originally from India and now living in Murphy. After work- ing with the La Quinta in Rockwall and Euless, he started a construction company and began building hotels, later forming MOE Hospitality. Per Singh, MOE Hospitality “continues to look for new projects and is in the preliminary stages of planning a pos- sible project in Sherman.” Doug Bradley, vice president, came to MOE Hospitality to manage sales and marketing. Originally of McKin- ney, he now resides in Dallas. He has a long career as an executive in the corporate travel management field. He came to MOE Hospitality from Carlson Wagonlit Travel where he was the global account manager of the Alcatel-Lucent account. He also managed various travel programs. Serving as assistant general manager is Chyna Norvell. The Hampton currently has 15 employees, and those employees are asked to “find a way to wow every customer,” says Bradley. “We are all about exceeding people’s expecta- tions ... And we want to thank the entries from the Texoma community for their votes.”
