RIT is a GREEN CompanyRIT moved to its new facility on List Drive in January of 2008. Adjacent to the RIT building was a 1.3 acre undeveloped lot. In an effort to support our environment, reduce our carbon footprint, and encourage others to follow our example, RIT has installed a Ground Mounted Solar Array on this piece of land with 683 solar panels that can produce over a megawatt per day.

Additional power, generated in excess of the RIT facility usage, is sold to Colorado Springs Utilities by feeding directly into the electrical grid. The power generated makes RIT the largest independent energy producer in Southern Colorado.

Can I get “just the right” version of RIT113, configured for my particular needs?

Yes! RIT113 is available in 3 convenient packages that range from basic to the most complete analysis in Medical Physics.

ClassicRIT113

RIT113 Classic, is our original version. It includes all the patient and machine QA routines that we have developed to help the medical physicist perform all the analysis requirements they may ever need to perform.

RITG142, is “just what you need”, to meet all and only those tests recommended in TG142.

RIT Complete is a combination of RIT113 Classic, and Radia Therapy in one convenient package.

Page 2: Best Practice QA Solutions - JW PacificTomotherapy and conventional therapies that have advanced the standard of QA in radiation therapy including: Planned Based Calibration, MLC Step

What does RIT113 Classic have that no other QA product has?

A lot. RIT has 22 patents in routines for Rotational Therapy, IMRT, Tomotherapy and conventional therapies that have advanced the standard of QA in radiation therapy including:Planned Based Calibration, MLC Step Wedge, Automated Sensitometry Correction, Calibrations Embedded In Images, and Image Alignment.

• It’s also the only product that analyzes images from all sources including EPID, 2-D arrays, Film, gel and CR

• The only to offer Statistical Process Control to record and track your data in our RITtrend™ database.

• The most advanced Radiochromic Film Corrections• Only RIT can generate composite MLC, EPID, and Stereotactic images.

Can it analyze EPID, CR and 2D Array images just like film images?

RIT113 does it all! Balance your need for speed, and responsibility for accuracy. • Siemens, Elekta and Varian EPIDs• PTW, IBA and MapCHECK 2-D arrays• Kodak CR • 3D Gels and Solids• RIT is the premier Film QA product using our Mathmagical™ EBT2 Film Correction

for Radiochromic Film.

What tests do you have for RapidArc, VMAT, Tomotherapy, IMRT and MLC?

As the original developer of automated IMRT QA, we have always been at the forefront of emerging treatment QA. We have more than 39 different QA tests that can be used for Rotational Therapy, IMRT, and new suite of Tomotherapy tests.

Great news for Tomo users! RIT has a suite of 7 routines being designed in cooperation with TomoTherapy for Beam QA. V5.4 contains the first two. The remaining routines will be included in future releases. These routines can be used with flatbed or Vidar scanners.

RIT113 is also the leader in MLC analysis with routines for all of the Varian MLC tests, RapidArc MLC commissioning tests, Elekta Jaw positioning, Elekta picket fence, Memorial Sloan Kettering MLC tests, Bayouth test and our new Image Composite routine.

My biggest challenge is the need to balance speed and accuracy. The consequences are critical if we don’t get it right, but I have to do my QA as quickly as possible.

RunQueueC Automated QC Checklist creates unlimited reusable protocols, checklists, and reporting scripts and runs them in unlimited size batches guaranteeing you standardized execution of all your QA protocols. Everyone in your department runs the tests the same way each and every time!

The new Radia Sequencer allows users to populate the work list with a predefined set of images and analyses in just a single click, and define any number of custom sequences

using the sequence editor. The sequences pull slices from absolute or relative locations and even average over several slices as they are imported. Once imported a single click will analyze the entire image set at once.

What is ?

RITtrend allows you to tag your data with customizable fields enabling you to design, store and recall queries producing the exact data you want to view and analyze. RITtrend allows you to design and store multiple specification sets for your data so you can be alerted when your data exceeds those specifications. Use standard specification sets from TG142 or customize your own. RITtrend allows you to define baselines for your data so you can look at your data relative to the baseline or in absolute terms. A must for TG142 compliance! The new Multi Source Data Manager’s customizable format allows you to add analysis data from any and all equipment used in your Medical Physics program.

We use an OBI, EPID, and a CONE Beam CT for QC. Can RIT help me with those too?

Radia Therapy, RIT’s Automated QC Therapy Phantom Analysis software, uses many of the phantoms you already have, and has modules for compliance with TG142 recommendations.• Cone-beam CT analysis with the Catphan

Siemens Oncology Phantoms, and Elekta XVI• kV imaging from the Disc Plus, IBA Primus L,

or PTW Normi-4 phantoms, all of which are 30x30cm and follow the DIN 6868-4 and IEC 61223-3-1 standards. Analysis may also be performed on the Leeds TOR 18FG phantom

• Electron Density/Tissue Characterization phantoms from CIRS 062, 062A, Gammex 467 phantoms, and Tomo Cheese

• kV/MV image coincidence and positioning, kV and MV radiation/light field alignment, magnification, laser localization, CBCT alignment, table height accuracy from CIRS ISO Cube Phantom.

• MV imaging tests may be performed on the PTW EPID, Las Vegas, and QC-3 phantoms

How can I perform Daily Checks on my LINAC?

RIT’s Early Bird Phantom and software package can perform daily checks for photons and electrons. Early Bird can be used with any

LINAC. But, it has been optimized for use with Varian TrueBeam accelerators, with or without a

flattening filter.
