Located on the 265-acre Niceville campus of Northwest Florida State College, the non-profit Mattie Kelly Arts Center is the Emerald Coast’s premier entertainment and cultural venue.

The $30 million fine and performing arts complex features two theaters, two art galleries, a Recital Hall, an outdoor amphitheater, and more! Our magnificent Mainstage Theater boasts 1,650 seats and hosts national touring Broadway and Artist Series shows as well as the regional Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, Ballet, concerts and much more! A portion of all ticket sales support NWF State College scholarships.

Located just minutes from neighboring coastal communities – about 14 miles from Destin and Fort Walton Beach – the center is easily accessible via State Highways 85, 285 and the Mid Bay Bridge and Mid Bay Connector Road.

A Group Discount of $5 off each Broadway/Artist ticket is available for groups of 10 or more tickets to an individual show purchased together. A Season Discount of 10% off the price of each ticket is available for patrons who select at least 6 of the 7 Broadway/Artist events for 2016 (no discount for Dukes of Dixieland NFSO fundraiser). Per contract, there is a $2 per ticket processing fee on all national shows in addition to the ticket price. Mardi Gras comes to Niceville as the world famous Dukes of Dixieland from New Orleans perform a Special Event concert backed by the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra (NFSO) in our magnificent Mainstage Theater!

The Dukes of Dixieland are THE pre-eminent New Orleans band, with 26 albums, 3 PBS specials and more to their credit. JEFFREy TAMBOR, iconic and award-winning veteran of film, television and the Broadway stage, appears for both a unique luncheon seminar and an evening event! A 2015 Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner for his lead role in the Amazon Prime hit series “Transparent,” Tambor is also well known for his roles in the popular programs, “The Larry Sanders Show” and “Arrested Development,” as well as films such as “And Justice for All,” “Meet Joe Black,” “The Hangover,” and much more.

Performing your Life: An Evening with Jeffrey Tambor (7:30 pm) – A hilarious and inspiring presentation that’s part one-man show, part seminar, part question-and-answer session, and endlessly entertaining. Tambor draws from his decades in front of the camera and struggles with alcohol and other issues to empower his audience to look beyond their perceived limitations, embrace their inner performing self, develop the confidence to creatively reach their full potential and turbocharge passions into action!
